Biography

Walton Blodgett (1908–1963) was an American painter, known for his Regionalist and American Scene watercolor paintings. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he studied at the Grand Central Art School in 1927 and privately with George Luks and George Pearse Ennis. He worked as a WPA artist in Key West, Florida, in 1936 and later taught at Hunter College in 1946.
