George Johnson

George H. Ben Johnson (1888–1970) was an American painter and cartoonist who worked as a postal letter carrier. He drew political cartoons for the Richmond Planet, showcasing his talent and approach to art. Despite being a prominent figure in Richmond history and black art, he remains somewhat of a mysterious figure.
